ScanEd: Physics of a Crash Virtual Lesson
ScanEd: Physics of a Crash is an educational program to teach teens the dangers of unsafe driving behaviors. ScanEd is an interactive, virtual approach for students. The presentation combines the physics of a crash with videos to show teen drivers what happens to the vehicle and the occupants’ internal organs when a crash occurs. The presentation uses science to demonstrate the importance of buckling up and obeying speed limits.
