Vote for the YOVASO After Prom Grand Finale to Win $25,000!

The After Prom Grand Finale event has saved more than 85,000 lives in Southwest Virginia over 31 years and has depended on grants and donations to stay afloat since losing its major funding source in 2019. The event was working toward financial stability when COVID-19 hit and devastated any long or short-term fundraising opportunities for the foreseeable future.   

The YOVASO Advisory Board is asking community members to vote online for the After Prom Grand Finale Event to win a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist® grant during a national competition beginning Wednesday, September 23. Supporters are encouraged to vote every day through Friday, October 2 and use all 10 of their allotted daily votes for After Prom Grand Finale.  

The After Prom Grand Finale Event is the only event like this in the country and the ONLY proven way to save lives on prom night. We estimate that over 85,000 lives have been saved in Southwest Virginia because of this 31-year-old event. Proms WILL happen again and we must keep teens safe!
