The Halloween Safety Campaign is an opportunity for middle schools, high schools and youth groups to join YOVASO in promoting a safe and fun Halloween! In 2020, all Virginia high schools, middle schools, and youth groups were encouraged to participate in a virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest! The contest was open to students ages 11-20 and entries were due by October 31 at midnight.
YOVASO selected 10 entries for public voting that took place November 2-4. The five pumpkins that received the most votes each won a $25 Amazon Gift Card! All prizes were made possible by a grant from State Farm.
